Position: Manager Finance & AccountsKomli Media is an early stage startup developing a range of exciting products for digital media. Komli is run by a small team of highly-qualified, dynamic individuals with work experience at companies such as Microsoft, McKinsey and Symantec. Komli’s leadership studied at some top universities including Harvard and IIT, and has raised over US$40 million in venture capital for some of their past ventures. Our offices are in New York, Mumbai and Pune.

Responsibilities:
- The Candidate will report to the CFO and will be tasked with supporting the Management Team in planning & analysis by building out key Finance & Accounting processes, Management Reporting & analytical support.
- The Candidate should have extensive experience partnering with peers and senior management. In addition, the Candidate should have experience in leading organizational change by driving continuous improvement and have experience in presenting to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- The role will offer the Candidate exposure to all parts of the Komli business. As a result, the Candidate will have an opportunity to interact with the Management Team and all business units.
- Individually execute entire projects which include issue & data analysis, problem solving, project management, and communication
- Provide analytical support to the CFO on recurring and one-off requested projects
- Manage the Finance monthly reporting package process
- Assisting CFO in the preparation of budgets, targets and regular reporting requirements
- Manage and oversee the billing function and create processes for scalable billing and revenue and cost recognition processes
- Achieve a strong partnership with internal BU and functions to achieve business and operational goals
- Assist the CFO in funding, investments and banking related activities
- Liaise with statutory auditors and consultants
- Prepare a full variance review income and expense - investigate differences to Budget
- Assist CFO and Management Team in preparing Board Packs and Investor Documents

- An ideal candidate will possess an MBA or equivalent degree with 2-3 years of financial planning experience. Broad experience within Corporate Finance working on management reporting, monthly management packages, forecasting/budgeting, Board presentations, analytical projects, strategic analyses etc. is crucial for this position.
- Candidate should have project management skills and have experience in leading projects from start to end with various constituents.
- In addition, candidates must have experience presenting to senior management.
- The candidate should be flexible in his/her approach to adapt to the dynamic start-up environment.
