QA Engineers
Company Profile:Komli Media is an early stage startup developing a range of exciting products for digital media. At Komli we are developing:
- Optimization algorithms for online advertisements
- Decision support system for data analytics
- Analysis of real time data, such as user behavior and web analytics
- Server scalability to support 100,000,000 requests per day (to start with)
- Database design for enhancing scalability and performance of our database, which will have millions of rows of customer data
- Data Mining
- Algorithms for solving complex computational problems

Position: QA Engineers
Location: Pune
Job Description:
You are a quality assurance expert who can do functional and
design verification of web software. You should be able to write test
plans, write test suites, automated test script and execute them.
Required skills are:
- Prior experience of QA on a web application, reporting and tracking defects (bugzilla)
- Experience with building test automation suite for web services
- Experience with one or more of - Linux/UNIX shell scripting, PERL and PHP is required
- Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX is required
- Desired knowledge of HTML, Javascript and FireBug
- Working knowledge of debugging and root cause analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some experience with Apache & Tomcat
- Scalability and performance testing knowledge
- Scripting for web testing
- Server load testing experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the test cases
- Run manual test cases for the GUI, ad-server and reporting
- Develop GUI automated test harness (Silk Test, Win Runner, QTP etc...)
- Execute the tests and send test report to the team.
- Design and perform performance and load test for web application using a test tool
- Analyze the failure and report in bugzilla
- 2.5-7 years of work experience in relevant field
- BS/MS/BCS/MCS/BCS/MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
