Komli Media is an early stage startup developing a range of exciting products for digital media. Komli is run by a small team of highly-qualified, dynamic individuals with work experience at companies such as Microsoft, McKinsey and Symantec. Komli’s leadership studied at some top universities including Harvard and IIT, and has raised over US$40 million in venture capital for some of their past ventures. Our offices are in New York, Mumbai and Pune.

Position: Product Manager

Location: Mumbai

Job Description:

Komli is venturing into new business areas in the online space and is on the lookout for product managers to lead each area. As a product manager, you will develop the vision for the development of the product. You must have a strong sense of the value of the product and the ability to understand customer and market requirements in order to make it best in class. You must be able to prioritize, make decisions, write a business plan, estimate timelines and be an effective interface between the customer and our engineering team. You will be responsible for delivering the product to market.  

Responsibilities:

• Product management experience, preferably in the software or internet sector
• Strong technical abilities or technical understanding
• Familiarity with business issues
• Market knowledge of Internet-related industries
• Demonstrated experience shipping products (concept to launch)
• Interest in meeting with customers to develop new business opportunities
• Project management experience
• Leadership qualities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• A curious, energetic, pro-active personality
• Proven ability to innovate
• Someone who will be passionate about our goals and will work towards the same

Qualifications:

• 3-5 yrs of total work experience
• Candidates with an education background in an analytical field will be preferred. An MBA is a bonus but not a requirement
