At Komli we are developing:

Optimization algorithms for online advertisements
Decision support system for data analytics
Analysis of real time data, such as user behavior and web analytics
Server scalability to support 100,000,000 requests per day (to start with)
Database design for enhancing scalability and performance of our database, which will have millions of rows of customer data
Data Mining
Algorithms for solving complex computational problems

Position: Senior Software Engineer

We need Sr. Software Engineer with experience in Data Mining, core Java, J2EE, Design Patterns and Web programming.

Location: Mumbai

Job Description:

You will be responsible for developing scalable applications which require expertise in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Data Mining. These applications will be developed with the intelligence, seamlessness and scalability of various Open Source Software Systems such as Hadoop and MySQL. The ideal candidate will dream about distributed systems for parallel processing of terabytes of data. You should also have excellent computer science knowledge, elite programming skills in Java/C++ and an expertise in large scale software development. Experience with Web development is a plus but definitely not required.

Required skills are:

Elite Programming skills in Java/C++ skills on Unix.
Extensive experience in working with large data stores.
Deep understanding of RDMS such as MySQL.
Good understanding of various Machine Learning and Data Mining algorithms.
Strong analytical, systems and architecture skills.
Working Knowledge of Web Technologies such as Tomcat / Hibernate.
Experience with Web Development such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus.

Requirements:

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
2-5 years of work experience in relevant field.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
