Andrew Lockwood has today announced he will be leaving Komli’s Australian operation next month and that Andrew Reid will be taking over as MD of Komli Australia & New Zealand.
Lockwood founded the very successful ad network, PostClick, in 2001, and in June 2010 PostClick had grown to be such an industry stand out that it was acquired by Komli Media, Asia Pacific’s leading digital media network platform.
Lockwood established PostClick when the online advertising business in Australia was still very much “new media” and PostClick has continued to be a major player and trend setter in the digital advertising arena, most recently launching the revolutionary PLAY video advertising solution. Lockwood was also a major force behind the establishment of IASH.
Like Lockwood, Reid was and is an online industry pioneer, having held the top positions at Nielsen/NetRatings, Blue Freeway and Peer Group after senior online marketing and analyst roles at Mallesons, News Limited and the Commonwealth Bank. Reid is also co-founder of Sentiment Metrics Asia (SM) one of the leading social media monitoring and consumer analytics tools in Asia-Pacific.
Reid is one of the country’s most esteemed digital and research experts and innovators and is currently working on a doctoral thesis focussing on digital and social media and its integration into corporate CRM systems.
Joining the Komli team in Australia last year (as Vice President, Data Solutions, Komli Media and Managing Director, ViziSense Australia & New Zealand), Reid is also a member of Komli’s global leadership team. Reid heads Komli’s software and technology strategy in the field of data management, customer insights, campaign optimisation and data exchange trading.
Lockwood will be taking an extended break from PostClick in July, two years after selling PostClick to Komli, but may return later in non-executive advisory role.
